Mi pasión por la investigación histórica, junto con una profunda afinidad por el trabajo de archivo y la capacidad de navegar por intrincados procesos burocráticos, impulsaron la creación de esta empresa. Tras años de localizar documentos familiares y una década de guiar a amigos y familiares en procesos similares, decidí convertir esta vocación en mi profesión.
Mi equipo y yo contamos con un profundo conocimiento de las complejidades burocráticas de las autoridades alemanas y una amplia experiencia en genealogía y trabajo de archivo. Nos especializamos en simplificar los desafíos administrativos, a menudo abrumadores, y hacer que lo complejo y aparentemente inaccesible sea fácil y navegable para nuestros clientes.
En los últimos años, hemos acompañado a personas de ascendencia europea en su camino para obtener la ciudadanía alemana, polaca y rumana. Soy Yoav Stern, fundador de stern-eu.com, una empresa especializada en facilitar la adquisición o restauración de la ciudadanía europea. Mi trayectoria en este campo comenzó durante mi infancia, en séptimo grado, cuando me dediqué a investigar las raíces de mi familia. Esta curiosidad inicial despertó mi fascinación por la genealogía. En aquel entonces, las plataformas en línea no existían, y elaboramos meticulosamente nuestros árboles genealógicos en papel, dibujando círculos a mano. Con el tiempo, el acceso a la información evolucionó, lo que llevó a la creación de extensas bases de datos en este ámbito.
Lo que comenzó como un pasatiempo personal persistió hasta hace aproximadamente una década, cuando las circunstancias se alinearon para que solicitar la ciudadanía alemana y rumana para mis hijos. Inicialmente impulsado por la consulta de un amigo, la demanda creció rápidamente, extendiéndose a sus familiares y conocidos. Reconociendo el potencial y la necesidad, decidí transformar esta pasión en una actividad profesional.

Recent Changes in German Citizenship Eligibility
In recent times, notable adjustments have been made to the criteria for German citizenship, particularly favoring Jewish residents of Germany prior to WWII and their descendants. Over the years, Germany has introduced several modifications to the citizenship law. A significant milestone occurred in 2021 when substantial concessions were enacted. According to the updated German citizenship law, individuals are now eligible to receive German citizenship if their ancestors resided in Germany before the outbreak of World War II and were compelled to leave the country due to the ascension of the Nazi regime – regardless of whether these family members held German citizenship at that time or were just merely residents.
Prior to this legislative change, individuals seeking German citizenship had to demonstrate their descent from individuals who themselves held German citizenship during the relevant period. This requirement has now been changed, marking a noteworthy shift in eligibility criteria.

Moving forward, we focus on preparing meticulous applications and assembling a comprehensive document file. Our commitment extends to completing the information gathering for all family members, aiding in the collection of country-specific documents, providing translation services, and overseeing the submission of applications in Germany.
Upon the submission of your application, a patient waiting period ensues, lasting approximately two years until the awaited response from Germany is received. Following the approval with the issuance of the naturalization certificate, the subsequent step involves scheduling an embassy appointment for the passport issuance process.
